US Compliance Burning Report for Shein Platform Shapewear

According to the regulations of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), all textiles,including clothing, imported into the United States must comply with the flammability requirements of 16 CFR Part 1610. To ensure product safety, our company  conducted combustion performance tests on shapewear products to verify their compliance with the criteria for U.S. market access.

16 CFR Part 1610 Standard Introduction

16 CFR Part 1610 classifies the flammability of textiles into three levels based on their burning speed and characteristics:

  •  Level 1: General flammability, applicable to  clothing.
  • Level 2: Moderate flammability, applicable to suede textiles and clothing.
  •  Level 3: Rapid and violent burning.Products at this level are deemed unqualified and are prohibited from being imported into the United States.

Combustion Performance Test Results of Shapewear:

The shapewear sample exhibited slow burning without any intense burning phenomena.
The flame self - extinguished within the standard time frame, and there was no continuous burning or dripping observed.

Final rating: Level 1 (qualified),  meeting the safety requirements for clothing  testiles in the US market.

In conclusion, the shapewear sold by our company on the Shein platform fully complies with the requirements of the 16 CFR Part 1610 standard regarding combustion performance, It is not classified as a product with rapid and intense burning and possesses the necessary combustion performance compliance qualification to enter the U.S. market.

This test result provides a solid compliance guarantee for the sales of products in the US market. It also demonstrates the Shein platform's strong focus on product quality and safety, as well as its commitment to offering consumers safe and reliable shapewear products.
